Fairly clean place with AMAZING staff and location. Efficient personnel at the reception desk. Situated 20 minutes' walk from the train station.

Tbh, had an excellant stay iN ROOM 133. We loved stuff and location of this small hotel.

Its atmosphere and facilities were wonderful that's why I loved the place.

Location and staff are perfect, I liked it.

Everything was perfect and rooms were compact and well-designed. The bar was fantastic with pleasant staff.

We enjoyed almost every detail: brilliant location, very professional staff. Location just off the beer garden, the centre of York. Besides, it was just a few minutes from a ruined Benedictine abbey. Beautifully decorated, cosy room with a double bed, a really good bathroom and nice towels.

Unbeatable location, outstanding restaurant. Our room was contemporary. Ideally located hotel. We visited the outdoor bar and truly enjoyed the cool drinks. Perfect service offered too. Gorgeous garden outside😃

It was well priced. Superb service too. The location was ideal, with zills - tapas & mezze nearby, where we could eat.

The shower had very little pressure and it was inconvenient.

the full english breakfast was yummy, variety of options. themed room, comfortable enough bed and pillows. staff smart there, the hotel was impeccably clean. just fine location, only a short distance to botanical gardens.

enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the whole place. location was marvellous for exploring york. climate control, a work desk and a radio in our small double room were realy useful during our stay. breakfast staff was very accessible. it was worth its 4 stars.

Large and gorgeous rooms, contemporary atmosphere. Television and hairdryer were a very nice touch. We greatly enjoyed to have evening drinks at Burton Stone Inn, based nearby.

Everything was very clean and everyone was competent. The modern bathroom is absolutely the best. The reception staff does a fabulous job. This hotel is equal to 4 stars.

That milk was missing.

I recommend you to eat at Dough, that is set 100 metres away. Best base for trip in York. 10 minutes walk from the train station.

The entire staff were considerate! National railway museum is just a short distance away. We greatly enjoyed churchill. Location, an easy walk to all attractions.
